Job Description:
Join our team as an Overnight Awake Companion, every other weekend (7 pm until 7 am, Saturday and Sunday evenings), where your presence will bring comfort and safety to someone in need while they sleep. In this role, you will be the reassuring, watchful eye through the night, ensuring safety and providing assistance as needed. Your care makes a difference, offering peace of mind to both the individual and their family. If you enjoy helping others, have a passion for caregiving, and are an excellent night owl, we’d love to have you join us!
What You'll Do:
- Monitor the person’s well-being throughout the night
- Offer help and support when necessary, ensuring the individual’s comfort
- Stay alert and attentive to potential needs or emergencies
- Act quickly and calmly when issues arise
- Document any events or observations during your shift
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in caregiving
- First Aid and CPR certification - desired
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay awake, alert, and engaged throughout your shift
- Reliable transportation
