Position: Caregiver

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate caregivers to provide in-home and community-based support for a vibrant young man with cerebral palsy and low vision. A passionate theater enthusiast, he uses a power wheelchair for mobility and requires assistance with daily activities to ensure his comfort, independence, and well-being.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate caregivers to provide in-home and community-based support for a vibrant young man with cerebral palsy and low vision. A passionate theater enthusiast, he uses a power wheelchair for mobility and requires assistance with daily activities to ensure his comfort, independence, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with all activities of daily living (ADLs), including transfers, toileting, bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support the client in attending appointments and participating in community activities.
- Provide companionship and ensure his emotional and physical well-being at all times.
Requirements:
- Minimum two years of caregiving experience, including hands-on assistance with ADLs.
- Ability to pass state and criminal background checks.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID-19.
- Must live within a 30-minute commute of the Ambler-Fort Washington area or have reliable transportation.
Weekend availability and flexible scheduling required.
