Are you a dedicated professional looking to apply your clinical or educational background in a high-impact, one-on-one environment? We are seeking a Lead Direct Care Support Professional to provide sophisticated, person-centered engagement for an individual in the Lititz area.
This is not a traditional caregiving role; it is a position designed for a person who views behavior as a vital form of communication. You will be the Lead Support Professional of a supportive environment, focusing on emotional regulation, relationship-based strategies, and meaningful community integration.
 
 
The Professional Profile
  • Clinically: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Social Work, Recreational Therapy or a certificate from NADD and are eager to apply your experience to real-world outcomes.
  • Relationship-Driven: You believe that trust is the foundation of progress. You utilize positive reinforcement and proactive strategies to foster success.
  • Analytical & Observant: You can identify patterns, document with precision, and collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team to refine support plans.
  • Resilient & Composed: You possess the "quiet confidence" necessary to remain a stabilizing presence during moments of dysregulation.
Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Engagement: Implement and lead individualized support plans built around the person’s specific interests, strengths, and sensory needs.
  • Behavioral Facilitation: Utilize and lead evidence-based, positive strategies to promote emotional regulation and de-escalation.
  • Community Navigation: Act as a bridge to the Lititz community, facilitating social participation that is both purposeful and dignified.
  • Documentation: Maintain high-level data collection and narrative reporting to track support needs, trends, and milestones.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required (Psychology, Education, Social Work, or Recreational Therapy preferred, NADD certificate accepted).
  • Experience: Proven experience implementing behavior support a plus!
  • Logistics: Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to pass comprehensive background clearances.
