Are you kind, capable, and passionate about helping others thrive? We’re looking for a thoughtful, experienced Direct Support Professional to support a warm, funny, and community-minded woman in her 40s with IDD who lives in a lovely home in Chestnut Hill.

She enjoys staying active, volunteering in her community, and continuing to build her independent living skills. If you enjoy creating meaningful daytime routines and empowering someone to live confidently and fully, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

You’ll provide support with:

  • Planning engaging daytime activities and community outings 
  • Meal planning and simple breakfast/lunch preparation 
  • Encouraging healthy routines and physical activity 
  • Helping choose weather-appropriate, stylish outfits 
  • Providing respectful prompts for personal care as needed 
  • Supporting volunteer work and community involvement 
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others build skills, confidence, and connection.

Who We’re Looking For

  • Warm, patient, and respectful 
  • Minimum of 2 years caregiving experience 
  • Experience supporting adults with IDD 
  • Reliable, proactive, and creative 
  • Able to pass state and federal background checks 
  • Non-smoker 
Compensation

Starting at $25.00 per hour, based on experience and services provided

We’re happy to offer flexibility with which three weekdays are scheduled, making this a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent daytime hours in a supportive, low-stress environment.
