Full-Time Behavioral Support Professional

Are you an experienced behavioral professional who enjoys helping people reach their full potential? We're looking for a compassionate, dependable, and energetic Behavioral Support Professional to join an established team supporting an engaging young adult with autism.
This is more than a direct support position—it's an opportunity to use your ABA knowledge to help someone build independence, develop new skills, and enjoy a full and active life at home and in the community.

Position Details
  • Full-time position
  • Five days per week, including at least one weekend day
  • Schedule and daily hours will be determined based on the individual's needs and the successful candidate's availability
  • $28.00–$36.00 per hour, based on education and experience
What You'll Do
  • Implement Positive Behavior Support and ABA strategies.
  • Support community outings, recreation, and meaningful daily activities.
  • Teach and reinforce communication, social, and independent living skills.
  • Assist with personal care and Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated team of 11 professionals to provide consistent, high-quality support.
  • Help create a positive, engaging environment that encourages growth, independence, and success.
We're Looking for Someone Who:
  • Has hands-on experience using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavior Supports.
  • Has experience supporting individuals with autism and/or intellectual or developmental disabilities.
  • Can confidently implement behavior support plans and respond calmly and effectively to challenging behaviors.
  • Is patient, engaging, dependable, and enjoys building meaningful relationships.
  • Works well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Has a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record.
  • Can safely support an adult male with physical and behavioral support needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or coursework in ABA, Psychology, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • RBT, TSS, NADD, or other behavioral health certifications are welcomed.
  • Experience using alternative communication systems such as PECS, AAC, or other communication supports is a plus.
